  • The Master's Degree in Legal Sciences for Work and Security is the natural continuation of the three-year Bachelor Program in Legal Services Sciences offered by the Department of Law at the University of Siena (both in Arezzo). Graduates from other three-year degree programs may also apply, provided they meet the admission requirements. Admission is open, with a prior assessment of the candidate’s preparation.

    The program aims to provide advanced knowledge in legal and socio-institutional disciplines, ensuring a strong command of private and public law categories from both national and international perspectives. Students gain advanced English language skills, including specialized disciplinary vocabulary, alongside in-depth knowledge in sociological, economic, and legal fields.

    The program provides an interdisciplinary education aimed at enhancing employability, with a focus on key areas such as Labour Law and the Third Sector, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Data Protection, and Public Safety.

    The professional opportunities after graduation include the following:

    Legal Practitioner in Work and Third Sector Law: Manager or officer in human resources management and development, work organisation, and industrial relations, Public and private operator of employment services and active labour policies, Consultant in human resources management and labour policies, Self-employed professional in the field of labour consultancy or associate in labour consultancy firms, Legal practitioner in personnel administration and human resources management offices in private companies, Official/manager of trade associations, interest representation associations, trade unions and bilateral bodies, Official of public bodies operating in the field of employment services, labour, training and social policies, social security benefits and related contributions, Employee at social security institutions and regulatory authorities, Expert in occupational safety, privacy and personal data processing, corporate compliance, Legal expert in human resources management and legal advice for the Third Sector.

    Legal practitioner for security and investigation: Responsible for corporate security, including in the area of occupational accidents, Legal Officer on Risk Impact Assessment and Data Protection (DPO), Official within the public administration with data security management tasks, Expert in data management and information security, Official in Administrations dealing with security (public order, urban security, defence, etc.), Private investigator (subject to legal requirements), Senior roles in law enforcement agencies, understood in a broad sense.

    Additionally, graduates can continue their studies with a second-cycle Master's degree or a PhD, in Italy or abroad
